Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway shows of The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search, at the age of 15, was her first time that she made an appearance on television. In the years since, Sutton has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has appeared across the country in addition to internationally along with her musical director Michael Rafter... performing songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" as well as the follow-up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." The singer has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. She received her Honorary Doctorate in the year 2011 from Ball State University, where she also serves as a faculty member and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. From March to date, her debut TVLand series "Younger", which was created by Darren Star is a hit.
