Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie Jazmine Marie Sullivan (born on April 9, 1987) is an American R&B and soul-singing artist. Born and raised in Philadelphia Her debut album, Fearless was released in the year 2008. The album was a top contender on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album was followed by four singles including "Need U Better" as well as "Bust Your Windows" and both placed in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart;"Bust Your Windows" was her first as well as the first single to top the Billboard Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs chart. Sullivan was able to follow this up with her album for her second studio, Love Me Back, released in 2010 and received favorably by reviewers. Following a break of three years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and released her first album as a studio under their label Reality Show, in 2015, and it became her first album to peak at the top of the Top R&B Albums chart. Her critically acclaimed album Heaux Tales, which features the top-selling single "Pickup Your Feelings", was released in 2021. Sullivan earned two Grammy Awards and a Billboard Women in Music Award. She also received 3 NAACP Image Awards and 2 BET Awards. Time named her among their top 100 influential individuals in 2022.
